Meal prepping is an important Sunday task in my fitness journey. Without meal prepping, I’m lost and destined for failure. Yes, sometimes I do fail, but I keep going. We can all admit that when we’re hungry, we’re ready to eat in that very moment. To be honest, I can’t hardly think when I’m hungry. It’s all that I’m able to focus on. Who can relate?
Portion control is also a very important part of meal planning. Sometimes, we feel as if we can go crazy just because we’re eating healthier options. Previously, I would snack more often because my snacks were healthier. It took me reading an article to realize my wrong doing.
With these containers (affiliate link), I feel more confident in my meal planning. I am intentionally planning and using the proper portions of food. Sometimes, I put my meat in the smaller section so I’m eating mostly veggies. When ordering, you will realize that you get quite a few for your bucks. Can you believe that you get 15 containers for such an inexpensive price? Yes, honey! Last, they stack up nicely in the fridge. The family knows not to touch those particular containers because mommy will have a fit (just kidding)! Y’all know I do take my fitness journey seriously and whatever helps is a win. These containers are inexpensive (around $15) and definitely help in assisting with my goals. (I do not recommend using them in the freezer!)
