Finally!!! I am sharing my fitness journey with you. This will be my Fit Diary entry #2. You can check out entry #1 here. I have been prolonging this blogpost for a while. I wanted to make sure that you could really see how hard that I have been working. I want you to clearly see my results. I don’t have a six-pack (or a four pack), but I have come a long way. I can now wear a shirt without my waist trainer….before, I couldn’t. Let’s go back to the two pictures below. These pictures were taken before I got pregnant. I clearly had a pouch and was about to start working out then. That’s the whole reason that I took these horrible pictures. At this time, I always wore waist trainer. Because of the pregnancy, I had to prolong my fitness journey. Some told me that I could work out pregnant, but I didn’t want to start working out consistently like that when I was pregnant. I was also having horrible back pains during my pregnancy. I will have my measurements at the very end of this post.
Below was three months after having my little man and the very beginning to my fitness journey. I know it takes time for your body to get back to normal, but this was the biggest that I ever been. Wearing a waist trainer was a MUST because I still looked pregnant.
Below is my body as of now. I am still on my fitness journey and don’t plan on stopping. I don’t want to lose anymore weight, but I do want to tone. That means less cardio and more muscle strengthening. I hate lifting weights and would much rather run…..but a girl has to do what she has to do. I did get a trainer for two months and met up with him 3 times a week. I will get more into details about my experience with having a trainer in a future post but follow his instagram here. Besides having a trainer, self discipline is important. One cheat meal out of the week was allowed, not a whole entire day of cheat meals. Sugar and salt is the enemy. Say no to chips, soda, fast food, and salad dressing. I still wear my waist trainers. I had to go down in size, but they help me out so much. I wear one to work out in and another for daily use. When I workout in the waist trainer, I sweat more around my stomach and that’s what you want! The one I currently use is here. I have also been drinking 100% Organic Herbal Miracle Tea. It is a detox that helps a lot with bloating, gives you energy, caffeine free, and helps your digestive system. I love that it’s not expensive like all the teas that you see on Instagram.
Below, you can see that I lost a lot of my thighs and hips. My hubby isn’t too happy about that but I’ll get it back lifting weights. Truthfully, I don’t miss then because now I can fit back into my clothes.
Of course, I had to give you some happy silly Delabelle!! Life is good, especially when you set out and reach your goals. Don’t talk about or wish for anything….write it down and make it happen! You are the only thing stopping you!!!
I was stuck at 145 pounds and now I’m at 132 pounds.
Here are my measurements:
- Waist: 32.5 > 28 Total loss: 4.5 inches
- Arms: 11.75 each > 11 each Total loss: .75 inches each arm
- Thighs: 24 each > 22 each Total loss: 2 inches each thigh
I hope that you enjoyed this post! Look forward to more detailed posts like my diet, things that I had to change and my experience with a trainer ect….. Which one should I do next? Comment below with any questions that you may have! Talk to you soon!
