So far, the month of April has been amazing. I’ve been grabbing life by the horns and checking things off of my to-do list. Do you ever feel like a hamster on a wheel? You’re going and going…but going nowhere? When you are making and seeing your progress, your momentum builds which makes you want to go even harder.
Some of those things include: paying down our debt, working out, family photos, vacation planned, and business opportunities. It really helps to write down your goals and track your results.
I’ve also been doing some serious spring cleaning and it feels so refreshing. Minimalism is something that has recently gotten my attention in 2017. Though I don’t plan on becoming a serious minimalist, I do like to take away tips. There’s a ton of videos on youtube on the subject. Not to be bragging, but I have way too much stuff. I should be on the television show, Hoarders! (OK, I’m not that bad.) Decluttering and organizing does so much for your physical space, bank account and mind. Read more about my experience here. I like to call it a mental detox. Follow my poshmark if you’re interested in some of the pieces that I’m getting rid of for cheap.
The first couple pictures are from dinner at Pappadeaux. I had the etoufee and it was delicious! I haven’t had white rice in so long so I had to pace myself. It’s okay to treat yourself every now and then.
Bryson made 2 years old! I’m happy and sad that he’s growing so fast. He’s so spoiled by me and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
The above photos were taken at the park after we finished taking our family photos. We were feeding the fish and turtles bread. Let me tell you, our photos came out so perfect! I can’t wait to share them with you all. My photographer is amazing!
Yep, I’m still going strong in the gym! It’s been since January that I’ve been going consistently. I started going three days a week, but now I go 5-6 days a week. My body has changed so much. More about that later in my Fit Diary Series. Read my last entry here when my body almost shut down on me.
