Last week was not a good week for me at all when it came to eating healthy and working out. If you aren’t familiar with my fit diary series, it’s basically where I share my weekly progress of my fitness journey. This isn’t so much about losing weight, but about toning up and living healthy. My trouble area is my belly which has finally disappeared. I will do a separate blogpost on how I accomplished this specifically.
I’m not perfect……which is one of the reasons that I started The Fit Diary Series. It holds me accountable plus gives you an insight on my own personal progress. The series allows me to look back and analyze where I went wrong and what worked out for me. Some weeks are good and some aren’t (as in last week).
Like I stated, last week sucked. I went to the gym Sunday (Jan 29th) and then again on Tuesday (Jan 31st). That is not enough gym time for me at all! On top of that, I had a bad Friday night so I emotionally ate junk food all day Saturday. Let’s say on Sunday, I felt like trash. I brushed myself off Sunday and gave myself a detox (physically & mentally). Let’s just say, I’m back and kicking butt.
As you see, we all go through it. It’s okay to fall off the wagon, but you have to know when to pick yourself up. The longer you’re off the wagon, the harder it is to get back on. Besides that, all of your previous work will be gone. I do not want to welcome back my belly fat AT ALL. She can stay on the curb where I left her (emoji “talk to the hand” here..lol!)
