Have you been thinking about wanting to do something for years and haven’t started yet? Last night I went to sleep with some things on my mind after speaking with a few clients. Since I seriously think in my sleep, I woke up this morning with a few important things to share. There’s four things that you need to do if you are serious about making a change. Let’s be honest, your goals aren’t going to fall in your lap. So…are you ready boss babes?
Get rid of excuses:
In my network marketing business, I talk to people daily. Some people that I speak with seem to want so much, but has every excuse to prevent them from change. Sometimes, I just let people vent (because we all need to at times), but I often wonder if they actually hear themselves. If you really want something, the excuses must go. I offer two main things to my clients, getting healthy or starting a business. These two things could lead to much more, but you have to see and believe in the future. For example, my business is helping my family get out of debt so we can start buying rental properties. YOU NEED TO SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE!
Let me get personal with you. When the hubby and I first got married, we went to counseling. Straight out of the military, I still had that independent attitude and I carried it into my marriage. The counselor told me something that really stuck with me and this was about 8 years ago. He told me that I needed to fully commit. There are no other options. There’s no plan b! FULLY COMMIT 100%. That completely changed my mindset, not only about my marriage but about other things. If you really want something, you have to be in it 100%. You commit half way and you will get half ass results. It’s the nature of the beast. I know when I’m slacking in my business and my results show that.
Do the work:
Saying you’re a boss isn’t going to get you paid. Saying you want to lose weight will not change the numbers on the scale. Once you get rid of the excuses and fully commit, then it’s time to put in the work. If you want to be the boss that you claim to be, you must get in the trenches and do the work. Wake up earlier or stay up later. Ask for help. Want to lose weight? Get in the gym. Get a partner. Follow inspiration on social media. Get focused and do the work!
Have tunnel vision:
When you decide to do something different, people will talk. They will judge you or try to figure out what in the hell you’re doing. Comments might distract you or even piss you off. When you start to value your time, you may lose friends who don’t understand you goals. Get tunnel vision. Don’t worry about all the crap that doesn’t benefit you. They unfollowed you… so what. Someone gave you a thumbs down on your Youtube video….so what. Someone told you that you can’t lose the weight….so what. GET TUNNEL VISION.
I didn’t plan to write this article. It wasn’t even on my content calendar. Truthfully, I woke up with this on my mind and felt compelled to share it with you. I don’t care if this only touches one person, but stop being afraid to make a change for something different. It’s not just about joining me in my business. If there is something else that you want to do in your heart, go after it! Life is too short to go on not knowing and wondering. I love you all and wish you the most success!I'm not afraid to make changes to get results...point blank! Click To Tweet
