A ton of sneezing, nose blowing and rubbing the face has been my week. I was completely out of it yesterday. Today is better, but I’m still feeling it. To make matters worst, the hubby is now sick as well. Whoops!
If you’ve been following me on IG stories, you are aware that I haven’t had any meat since the first of the month. I never thought I would go full vegetarian, but I wanted to stop eating meat with all of my meals. 3 full days is the longest I’ve been without meat. Today, the temperature dropped dramatically after the rain. With us both being sick, chili was the perfect option for dinner.
I’m aware of the meat free chili options out there, especially floating all over pinterest. Here’s the thing, when the hubby volunteers to cook, your girl is all for it! To be quite honest, I didn’t feel too much of a difference with my body. Actually, I was more hungry than ever. The thought of me increasing my carbs makes me want to cringe. That just isn’t happening. It’s how I lost my belly fat to begin with. I guess I have a bit more experiencing to do.
Of course, I use cauliflower rice and add a half of avocado along with hot sauce. I love eating spicy hot mixed with cold. What is your go to meal when you’re sick? Comment below.
